Does this affect rankings?

No.Our product rankings and "Best For" scores are generated by a rules-based algorithm and editorial testing. We score products based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), build quality, and ease of use.

Whether or not we have an affiliate relationship with a retailer who stocks a product does not impact the scores that product receives. We regularly recommend products that are not currently available via our affiliate partners if they are the best option for the user.
